THE BEST FESTIVAL LITTLE PRINCE…

International Festival Contest of World Talents «Micul Prinţ» is an original dialogue between cultures and people from South-Eastern Europe, launched by WOTC at local and national level in October 1993, which became shortly an international project. Already a tradition, the project had a positive impact during 16 years, in the country as well abroad. Achieved in hard conditions, with insignifiant local sponsorships, the project brought together during years over 55,000 young talents and great personalities of European culture, as well from other continents. Between 1993 and 1996 and also 2000-2009, the International Festival Contest «Micul Prinţ» was developed at Chişinău, in the period 1997-1999 – was developed at Bucharest, under the patronage of Romanian President at that time. During the Romania period the project became a true ambassador of Moldova, involving most of ambassadors accredited at Romania. The 2000 edition took place under the patronage of President of Moldova, 2006-2008, 2010-2012 – patronage of President of Parliament of Moldova, in 2001-2002 – the patronage of Mr. Walter Schwimmer, Secretary General of Council of Europe, in 2008 – under the aegis of Mr. Terry Davis, Secretary General of Council of Europe, in 2004 it was dedicated to 500th Anniversary of Stefan the Great and Saint, in 2009 – the Festival was dedicated to 60th Anniversary of the Council of Europe. 2010-2021 Best Festival LITTLE PRINCE…
